Intake Specialist and Case Manager
When you call the Lamber Goodnow legal team after you’ve been hurt in an accident, or after a member of your family went to the hospital because of an accident, Michelle Lorenti is one of the first people you might talk to. As an Intake Specialist and Case Manager for the team, she’s the first point of contact for many clients.
Michelle will ask questions, find out about what happened, and help connect them with the right attorney. Often, these clients quickly get a sense that Michelle sounds like an expert on injuries and insurance, and they’re right: She spent the first part of her career as a licensed property/casualty and life/health insurance agent and broker. Additionally, she spent six years as a paralegal. The combination of the two makes her a valuable asset for the team.
Because of Michelle’s extensive knowledge of insurance policies and insurance laws, she’s able to not just answer questions, but also ask the right questions so clients are informed early on, and so their cases get moving more quickly. Michelle is an expert at reading insurance policies — not just the declaration pages, but also the fine print and exclusions.
In her spare time, Michelle and her family work in the community. She volunteers with a soccer club for at-risk youth, feeds the homeless through a weekend program, and also travels to Mexico to work with children and their families.
