A specialist in plaintiffs’ personal injury claims, particularly catastrophic injury and wrongful death litigation, Marc Lamber is one of the most highly respected attorneys in his field. Rated AV-Preeminent by his peers (Martindale-Hubbell), Marc formed the personal injury practice at Fennemore Craig, which ultimately became the Lamber-Goodnow Personal Injury Law Team.
Marc has spent more than 20 years developing his practice and the team, and during that period has become regionally and nationally regarded for his legal acumen, quality representation and innovative way of representing his clients. While Marc is an established attorney, he’s not set in his ways — instead, he’s always looking for what’s new, what’s helpful, and what will best help him illustrate his clients’ needs and condition.
In addition to being recognized by peers as an exceptional attorney, Marc is also prominently featured in both print and broadcast media. He’s been interviewed by Forbes, the Wall Street Journal and USA Today, and also has appeared on networks such as NBC, ABC and CBS. Newsweek named Marc one of the “20 Leaders Plaintiffs’ Trial Lawyers,” and Apple featured Marc and his legal partner James Goodnow in a commercial because of their creative use of iOS technology in their cases.
Marc and James’ partnership has resulted in a variety of awards and accolades. Among them, Attorney at Law magazine named them the “#1 Personal Injury Team in the U.S.”
At work, Marc is considered an expert in not only litigation, but also negotiation, arbitration and mediation. While he’s recovered tens of millions of dollars for his clients, this isn’t where he started — originally, Marc was a successful defense attorney. That time not only helped Marc hone his skills, but also helped him find his passion for representing plaintiffs. And even though he’s representing plaintiffs, Marc still has a stellar reputation with defense attorneys, insurance companies and defendants.
In addition to the work he does for his clients, Marc is particularly passionate about eliminating distracted driving from our highways and roadways. He’s a leader in raising awareness and also proposing legislation to help protect citizens and prevent injury and death.
Marc is an avid runner and enjoys jogging along the Chicago River. He and his wife also enjoy strolling through downtown, or getting drinks at the Ultraluxe. Marc particularly enjoys the views of downtown and Lake Michigan from the Lamber-Goodnow offices on the top floor of the Chicago Board of Trade building.
