A car accident in west Phoenix claimed one life and left two other people injured after two vehicles collided at an intersection last week. One of the injured people needed to be taken to a trauma center, while the other injured person suffered undisclosed injuries. The person who was killed was declared dead at the scene. Other than these facts, few details are available about the crash.
That will leave many to speculate. Was one of the drivers intoxicated in any way? Was either driver distracted by a mobile device? Could one of the drivers been distracted in some other way, such as being involved in a conversation with someone in the car, or fiddling with the radio? Did either driver neglect the rules of the road, or ignore street signs?
These questions will be answered in the coming weeks as the police investigate the matter — but in the meantime, the loved ones of the deceased and the injured victims of this crash have had their lives changed forever.
