Fennemore Craig Announces Lamber Goodnow Scholarship Winners

The Lamber Goodnow legal team at Fennemore Craig is proud to announce this year’s winners of the Lamber Goodnow Education Scholarships!

College Scholarships

Emilia Lopez, San Francisco, CA. After learning to code, Lopez brought a program called “Technovation” to her school community which teaches girls to build, write the code for, and launch an app into a world-wide competition for a chance to be featured in the Apple and Android App Stores.

Devin McIntyre, Beverly Hills, MI. As a junior in high school, McIntyre created a business, PWRdetroit, a brand of bracelets and products aimed to make a change within Detroit. The bracelets, a symbol of hope with a portion of the proceeds donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Detroit are made with shell casings swept from crime scenes in the city.

Nursing Scholarship

Angalise Brinkley: Washington, D.C. Currently enrolled in the Trinity Washington University program in Washington, D.C. where she has a 3.8 GPA, Brinkley has been driven to be a nurse since her mother died from HIV/AIDS in 1990.

Law School Scholarship

Jacob Ballard, Orlando, FL. Currently enrolled at the University of Central Florida, Ballard hopes to enter law school with a vision of one day becoming mayor of Orlando where he hopes to lower crime, raise property values, enhance the school system and create economic development opportunities for all of the city’s citizens.

Medical School Scholarship

Kemmian D. Johnson, Jacksonville, AK. Currently enrolled at the College of Public Health, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Johnson one day envisions himself working to close the gap in racial/ethnic health disparities in this country.

Physical Therapist/Occupational Therapist Scholarship

Marley King, Corvallis, Oregon. Currently enrolled at Oregon State University, King aspires to enter an Occupational Therapy program where she can change the lives of people, having come from a home where her mother was a drug addict, and she has experienced homelessness for most of her life.
