Windy City Scholarship Program

The Lamber-Goodnow personal injury team (an award winning personal injury law firm in Chicago) values education.  That’s why every year we give out the following scholarships:

Windy City College Scholarship (Two $1,000 Scholarships – One Awarded in Jan. and One in Aug. of Each Year).  Eligibility:
(1) enrolled at an accredited high school, college or university. Please note that all types of colleges, including four-year, community colleges and “junior colleges” qualify for eligibility, including specialty programs (e.g., nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, medical school, etc.); (2) must have a minimum GPA of 3.2; and (3) essay must be received by either (a) December 1, each year (one $1,000 scholarship to be awarded in the January of the year following the submission deadline), or (b) July 1, each year (one $1,000 scholarship to be awarded in the August following the submission deadline). Rules: (1) submit a 500- to 750-word essay to [email protected]com by or on December 1 or July 1, each year; (2) in your essay, tell us why you think education is power; and (3) for each application cycle (i.e., December and July deadlines of each year), one applicant will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship for education expenses at the school of their choice.

Windy City Law School Scholarship (Two $1,000 Scholarships – One Awarded in Jan. and One in Aug. of Each Year): Eligibility: (1) must either be applying to law school for enrollment the following year or currently be enrolled in law school and will continue to be enrolled in law school through the following academic year; (2) essay submission must be received by December 1 or July 1, each year; (3) essay must be received by either (a) December 1, each year (one $1,000 scholarship to be awarded in the January of the following year), or (b) July 1, each year (one $1,000 scholarship to be awarded in the August following the submission deadline). Rules: (1) submit a 500- to 750-word essay to [email protected]com by or on December 1 or July 1, each year; (2) in your essay, tell us why you want to be a lawyer and what motivated you to go to law school; and (3) for each application cycle (i.e., December and July deadlines of each year), one applicant will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship for education expenses at the school of their choice.
